Fires in the Pacific Palisades, Sunset Hollywood hills, Santa Clarita and Altadena took over 15,000 homes. Many of those victims were people of the music and film industry. Just this last week Evgeny Tonkha and K17 with help of BMI, The Village Recorder, The Bakery Mastering and Hollywood Scoring put on a benefit concert for those affected by the fires. With focus on the music in film and television. Composers James Newton Howard, Peter Golub, Stephany Economou. Marco Beltrami, Anna Drubich, Harry Gregson-Willams and Aaron Zigman put on a concert with the best players in town.
